Peony Flower for Paper Players #81

Ok, when I saw that the challenge for http://www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/ was to include some kind of flower, I knew right away what I wanted to create. I made a bunch of these flowers last year and wound up having a slew of requests to make them for cards for Mother's Day and Birthday's. I made this one with Valentine's Day in mind. I used the colors of basic black, pool party (oh how I love this color) and cherry cobbler. Very vanilla inked with cherry cobbler ink is what makes up the flower. I used the wonderful build a petal punch to create the flower, using the instructions from over at http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/. She does an awesome job! PPA128 Color Challenge-Candy Heart Book!

Good afternoon bloggers! I have been so busy with watching children lately, I have not had time to work on any challenges. That's a bummer:( Well anyway, I found a few minutes to put this cute little valentine book together for one of my favorite challenge blogs, http://www.palspaperarts.com/. Hop on over and check out the fun and easy challenge for this week (use RED, can't get any easier than that!) I wanted to put my matchbox die to work. I added an extra cover to have it open like a book. Details on measurements below if you would like to make one. I decorated the spine of the book using the smallest label that comes with the matchbox die.

This is a side view looking in. I used candy hearts to fill the inside of the slide out matchbox.

This shows the inside. I used a clear window sheet to attach to the inside to hold the candy in. I then just used the large heart punch to punch the window shape before gluing together the cover for the slider cover.

Here's what you need and directions:

- paper color of your choice (I used early espresso, very vanilla and cherry cobbler
- matchbox die
- big shot
- large heart punch, word window punch and the modern label punch
- tombo liquid glue or red sticky tape

measurements:
- cut out one matchbox die (both parts) in early espresso (this holds the candy and
the outside part that it slides back into)
- cut a piece of cherry cobbler to measure 4-1/2" x 2-7/8"
score it @ 2-1/8" and 3". Crease and fold. This is the outside cover of book that will open to show the inside. I glued the back together and just the spine so it opens like a book
- inside pages
-cherry cobbler, 1-7/8" x 2-1/2"
- very vanilla, 1-5/8" x 2-1/4"

Ok, last but not least is the demo card. Again I used the same paper pack, stamp set and paper doily to show that all the same items can be used on three seperate projects, no matter what kind you like and prefer to make. I threw in another sneek peek item from the Celebration catalog, can you guess what it is?!? It is the cute little brad that's in the center of the large doily. It comes from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack you can get for FREE, yes I said FREE, when you place a minimum order of $50 during the Feb. 24 thru Mar. 31, 2012.

Stamp Club Pillow Box

This is the 3D item that I will display at my first stamp club. I used the same "Celebration" Everyday Enchantment DSP pack to wrap around the box. I used Lucky Limeade Ruffled ribbon to tie around the holder. The holder is the wonderful Pillow Box die cut out with clear overhead projector sheets. It holds 3 Hershey Nuggets perfectly. I tied on a tag using the scalloped circle punch and added a few mini hearts from the Heart to Heart punch.

Valentine Scrapbook Page

I have put together my first "Stamp Club" and I am very excited to get started! My plans are to create either a scrapbook page, a 3D item or a card. First our first club get together we are making a valentine scrapbook page. As you can see we are using a few new items from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The DSP is a sneek peek from the Celebration Catalog.

With my stamp club I know that there are people who like to maybe only do scrapbooking, card making or 3D items. So to make my stamp club a little different and fun, I want to make 2 other items besides the item we are making for the project to demonstrate how you can use the same products, but on three different projects.

For example:
Our first project is a scrapbook page. I will have on display the card and 3D so that you can see the versatility.

Desktop Calendar

In the kitchen on my bar countertop, I like to keep a small calendar for quick references. I saw this calendar and thought it was perfect. I liked how it was different from the one I made for 2011 and that it had a seperate page for each month.

This shows how each page is seperate. After each month is over, you can simple tear out that month and the new month is on top, or to see ahead, you can just flip to that month. I decorated each month with a special stamp that goes with that month and its holiday or event.

This is the front (nice and simple). You could use it and keep it in your pocketbook. Its a wallet size. The tutorial was done differently than how I made mine. I added a scored strip of cardstock to back to make an easle for extra support for when it stands up. If you don't, the weight of the calendar pages make it want to flip forward.

A Little Wall Art

I have been wanting to recreate the scattered flowers you see in the front of the full catalog. So last week I did it! I several colors from each color family and punched out flowers/petals from the Build a Blossom punch and the new Blossom punch from the new occasions mini. I centered each with a flat white push pin and pinned them to the wall around the definition of "CREATE". I used my Cricut and black vinyl sheets to cut out all letters to finish the definition. I love how it turned out. Leave me feedback, so I can hear what your thoughts are!

Snowman Box

Ok, I posted this little snowman box on Stampin Connection and had a request to post the instructions. I have never done a video tutorial, but will do my best to list how I made it. If you have any questions, please email and ask, I will be glad to help, but really, its super easy! This little box I made to hold the snowman ornament that I made for my sister. So here it goes:

- I cut out 1 fancy favor box using the die of course in whisper white.
- I did use the large oval creative memories shape to cut out 2 shapes in whisper white as well.
- I cut off just a little off each bottom to cover the whole from and back of the box height.
- I used liquid tombow (this stuff is tough) to glue on the front and back oval.
- I love to ink the edged, so I did this on the ovals and the nose.
- The hat is made from two black modern label punches and the center is covered with a white snowflake from the 'northern frost die'. The hat part, is just two 2-1/2" x 2" pieces cut out and glued on. I used dazzling details to add some sparkle to the hat.
- The nose is the third petal using the 'blossom petals builder punch'.
- The eyes are 2 black 3/4" circles and the smile is #5 1/2' circles.

Snowman Ornament

This is the snowman head ornament that I made for my sister as part of her Christmas gift. (shhhhh...I have her name, don't tell!!) Anyway, the one die I bought, that I thought was gonna be a waist of my money was the petal cone die. Do you know that it has turned out to be one of the most used one and fun one I have. I love it!!! I cut out two of the cone shape using vanilla materal. I sticked each side together and then stuffed it. I used some misc. materal I had laying around (remember, I'm trying to use things I have already for gifts this year) and made the hat and scarf. I glued on black buttons for the eyes, chalked on some rosey cheaks. I took a small 1/4' stip of pumpkin pie paper and rolled it tight, then took tweasers and pulled it out to form the nose. I then hot glued it on. Wha All, one handmade snowman ornament for Christmas!!

Hot Cocoa with Santa

You know like everyone this year, I have cut way back on the Christmas gifts bought. I wanted to use what I have to make some handmade gifts instead. I have made several snowman ornaments, reindeer food treat packets and now this! My husband and I are going out to his work dinner party tonight, Wew Hoo!! Our good friends are gonna watch the boys for us and I wanted to give their two boys a little something. I have a reindeer food tube each for them, but i also made these cute hot cocoa packets for them. Each have one packet of cocoa mix and 5 hershey kisses (who can resist chocolate-well I know I can't!!)

More Cute Reindeer Food

My son usually gets some reindeer food from his school bus drive, but this year he got non. Needless to say, he was disappointed, so of course of put a special tube together for him and his older brother. I used the treat tubes from SU!, oh these things are so much fun to create with! I used the ever so popular reindeer saying:"sprinkle on the lawn at night, the moon will make it sparkle bright. As Santa's reindeer fly and roam, this will guide them to your home!" and punched it out with the decorative label punch.

This is a close up of the stocking punch at great use. This punch has turned out to be used for such more than the normal stocking. Reindeer Food!!

Ok, everyone has seen the ever so cute tutorials on how to make the cute elf feet. I went a step further and made the whole body to go with it. I wanted to give the children I watch and my own kids the ever so popular "Reindeer Food"! We can't have Santa missing our house you know!!

I made two girl elves for my two girls I watch and I made one santa for my little guy I watch. I used oatmeal and red glitter for the reindeer food and stuffed it inside the celephane treat tubes from SU!. The body is made of the top note die and I cut the sides down to make more of a dress/coat.

Santa Cookie Boxes

I wanted to do something small, but nice for my husband to give to his employees at his work. I also had made mac and cheese the other night and was about to throw away the cardboard box (you know the ones-the bottom of the veleveta cheese boxes) when I got the thought to keep it and make a template for future boxes. I then thought it would be ther perfect thing to put the cookies inside of for my husbands employees. If your like me, you don't throw away any cardboard sheets! I cut out 7 more boxes and made slide on lids for each. I kept them simple and decorated each like Santa's coat.

Each box holds 6 perfect sized cookies. (I made choc. chip of course!) The black belt slides on and off to help hold the lid on.

A closer look at the punches I used. 3/4" strip of black for the belt. #2 3/4" circles for buttons and label punch for the buckle.

PPA223 Puttin' on the Ritz Christmas

Not only is this my Christmas card for this year, but I decided to enter it into this weeks super special challenge over at http://www.palspaperarts.com/. Do I ever want to win some mega blogcandy!!!

I only make 10 special Christmas cards each year, cause I try to put alot of extra detail into them. I only send them to those I know won't throw them away, cause lets face it, we all take pride into what we make and to know or find out, that someone file 13'd your project, would well, upset you (me)!!

I used my SU! Home for Christmas stamp set and colored in colors or pacific blue, riding hood red and certainly celery. I wanted to keep the colors fun and whimsical! Even though you can't see it very well, I added dazzling details to the balls on the garland, light lamp, white on the tree and around the steps. I topped it off with some mini silver brads and a cute little snowflaked popped up with a silver cord bow. I also inked with matching color around all edges and took my gray marker and edged the rock on the stamped image.

Pearly Heart Valentine Stamping 411 Color Challenge #165

Thanks to the team over at Stamping 411 I made showcase on my country pinecone christmas card, thank you gals so much, it really means alot to see someone enjoy my card. I have gotten alot of nice compliments on it! Now on to this weeks color challenge over at http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/. This weeks colors are: poppy parade, pink pirouette and basic black. Great colors for some early valentine's day cards. And that is what I decided to make.

I used the poppy parade heart shape as the center piece for this card. I also used a white one and pink pirouette one but embossed them to give a little extra texture. The poppy heart has a bunch of little hearts layered on top and a mini pearl inside each. I also inked the edges of the mini heart and the large one.

Country Christmas w/ Stamping 411 #232

Boy did it feel good to be in "The Nook" (for those who don't know, that's the name of my craft room)! It seems, I'm either busy with Christmas shopping, Cub Scout stuff or just the everyday busy stuff that goes on, that it feels like for ever since I have done something fun, creative and for me and my blog. I have been wanting to make these cute little pinecones that I have been seeing around and well, I was glad to see Linda post the instructions on how to make it. http://lindas-stampinloft.blogspot.com/2011/11/pinecone-tutorial.html#links. It was so easy to do and soooo cute!!

I made two cones and layered them with the branch from the bird punch and topped it off with a red bird.
Side view to show a little of the inside. I place another red bird on a branch on the inside, layers also with the matching old olive and early espresso from the outside.

Santa Boxes

Hello bloggers! I hope everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. Wether it be for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Myself am ready for both. Bring on the good foods and family gatherings for Thanksgiving and well, Christmas is my favorite next to Halloween, so all is wonderful with that holiday.

I am a busy little crafter these days. I have decided to spend less money on gifts this year and try to give more simple gifts with handmade items. I have just fallen in love with making different style boxes for santa's coat. First up is the traditional basket using the pillow box die. This is for my sister for Christmas Sshhh-I have her name) and she is getting a B&N gift card inside this cute little basket with some chocolate truffles.

Second style is using the ever so cute, Fancy Favor box die. I just love that you can get so many uses out of the different box dies that go with your big shot. The options are endless! On both I have used a swirled embossing folder for the coat (cherry cobbler). This cute little box is for my older sons TA teacher. She has been a wonderful teacher so far this year since my som has started Middle School. We found out she is moving due to husbands job. She is getting a B&N gift card as well with a mini Bath & Body hand santizer.

Good day bloggers. This card is for http://www.creative-sketches.com/ this week. Our challenge to you, is to use the color palette of riding hood red, so saffron and more mustard. I had to think about these colors for a minute, cause my brain is on Christmas/Winter right now and totally forgot Fall is still around. Use the color inspiration photo below, get creative, make a project and hop on over and enter our challenge.

This creation is not quite my original idea (but whose is anymore!). I got the door idea from http://stampndesign.blogspot.com/2011/10/rectangle-door-card.html. I used the colors of choc. chip for the main door and soft suede for the door front panels. I also embossed the door and front panel only with a wood grain embossing folder. I also used a misc. leaf punch for the wreath on the door (which is my idea). They are attached to a scalloped circle punch with the center punched out with a 1-1/4" circle punch. I topped off each wreath with a small bow using 1/8" red grosgrain ribbon. I made door handles with simple black brads.

Holiday Stocking Candy Boxes

These are the other stockings, like I promised. This one is using riding hood red and bermuda bay. new Snowflake embossing folder and swiss dots, both inked with whisper white.

This snowman is for my sister for her handsantizer soap to go in. I used 3/4" and 1/2" circles for the eyes and smile. square cut in half for nose in pumpkin pie and the top and stocking pieces are in basic black embossed in the new snowflake folder. The white snowflake on head is from the northern frost bigz die.

This is another one using "Grinch" colors as I like to call them. Its one of my favorite Christmas movies! Anyway, back to the stocking...I used lucky limeade and melon mambo for the stocking pieces and the ink for the ornament. The green is embossed with the strips folder and the stocking pieces is embossed with the lattic embossing folder.

Santa Stocking Candy Box

Good day bloggers! I am on a role today with creating things. I am just having so much fun making these little stocking candy boxes. This is my 4th design and I know, I still need to post the 2nd and 3rd design. I decided to make this one like santa's jacket. I think it turned out so cute, I don't really want to give it away now!! I used the top note die for the top of stocking for just a different look and decoration. I plan to put hershey kiss's inside a bag and place inside the box that is in the middle of both stockings. Let me know what you think!

Holly Christmas Stocking

This is one of 4 different holiday stockings that I am making to give my friends in our stamp club. This one, is more country themed, which includes some holly. The very vanilla pieces of stocking have been embossed with the vintage wallpaper folder and inked with sahara sand for an antique look. I made two stockings (one on front and back) to hold in the middle a simple box shape to hold some candy. I also made one for my mom to hold a mini handsantizer bottle.

Wow, Holy Cow, Tarter Sauce...its been way to long since I have posted to my blog. I am such a slacker right now. Well I do have a good reason, but still, its no excuse. I used to live in Luray, Va and every year they have a Heritage Festival. My sister sets up with her crafts and this year, I am putting in my cards and gift items to try and sell. For the last two weeks, I have been locked in my room with the juices a flowing. I head over tomorrow to drop off all that I have made. A Fall Birthday

Well ladies, sorry I have been gone for a little while. Trying to get work related stuff taking care of and sorted. I feel like its been forever since I posted anything and this is not like me. I did have a fun day this past Saturday with a group of my friends. We spent all day at this ladies beatuiful house. I'm talking retreat kind of house. I got many great items completed. Keep an eye out for them. I will be posted them between today and tomorrow.

Paper Players Color Challenge #63

Ok, sorry for not posting lately. I feel so far behind in my creating. I have started working a full time job and by the time I get home, I am just so mentally drained, I just do what I have to do with family before crashing to bed. Lucky for me, this is my last full week at this job and I am going back to my in home childcare!!!!! Boy I miss my kids so much!! Any whoooo!!

Ohhhoooo...Auhhhhh My Finished Room Swap!!!

Its girls, the day has finally come to say my room swap project is done!! (well for the most part. I can at least walk inside and make a card if I want. There is still somethings to hang back on my sons walls and mine, but pretty much done. What do you think?!?! I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. This pic above is my sons room now, this is the sleeping area and on the other side of his bed, will be his desk when we get it!)

This is the other side of room (it measures 20'-8" by 10"). This is his play area side. Now I think he still wants to save his money for a bigger TV, now that he has the room! Go for it Andrew!

Now for the best room in the house!! Drum roll please.......my craft room. I want to place on the wall right above these white cabinets "Ink-a-doodle creations" with my black vinal and spread some colored flowers around it, like what is in the front of the New catalog from SU! I think it will be awesome!!

This cabinet holds my stamp sets. I went through all of the old wooden sets and converted them over to clear mount (it gives me so much room for more sets of course!!) The paper rack holds my In-Colors only in cardstock. On top, sits things that I have made or someone has given me.

As you can see, I love 4 things: stamping stuff of course, barbies, eeyore and old antique childrens toys. This cabinet holds all of my finished and in progress scrapbooks.

This is my cabinet that holds my cricut and my old antique school desk.

I have so many barbies that when we moved to this house, I had to sell alot. I kept my favorite ones and have them on display across the top of this wall. I do some special procealine barbies and they are protected in a glass cabinet downstairs. This is my work station. My uncle made me these ink holders. They are awesome, they hold the ink pad, pen and refill bottle. I am very organized and everything is in its place.

More barbies and my area where I sit. I say that because right above me is my slat board and it holds all of the items I use all the time, such as: adhesive, clear blocks, ribbons and such.

This is the last stop. This is not quite finished because my hubby still needs to hang up 2-3 more racks for my punches. This is also my cardstock area. I hope you have enjoyed the tour of my new craft room. I know I am so happy to be in my own room, just like back in Luray! Home Sweet Home!

New Project of Mine!?!?!

Good afternoon bloggers! Today I don't have a project for you to look at, but just checking in to let you know of the big project that I am working on in my house. Drum role please,......my younger son and I are switching rooms. You say, how is that exciting news?!? Well my room is long and narrow, so one half was my creation craft room and the other part I had to share with my parents as a spair bedroom. Well I feel bad, cause my younger son has always had the smallest room in house and the older son gets the larger bedroom. So we are switching, what that means for me is this, he gets the large room to himself, I take over his bedroom (which is much bigger than what I have now) and well, Mom and Dad, sorry you get to either sleep on couch when you come over or sleep in the boys beds and they can camp out. We found that having the spair bed was a waist of space, cause they don't come over and spend the night as much as they used to when we first moved away. I will try and post pictures of the move. Right now everything in my room is coming down so that I can paint over the purple walls. Andrew for some reason does not think purple walls is cool in a boys room!!

THE FUTURE CRAFT ROOM!!!
My goal:
1) today---take down everything off walls and move out furniture today, so that I can paint tomorrow and goes buy the paint at Lowes this afternoon after kids leave.
2) tomorrow---paint
3) friday and saturday start switching all the stuff and get extra bed taken down.
(oh yea, 2-4pm on Sat., have our cub scout splash down event and rush back to finish up switch, wish me luck!!

Good afternoon bloggers! Let me just say that I am sooo hooked on the Day of Gratitude stamp set and I don't know what to do. It is just such a beautiful stamp set. This card creation is for http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/. I have not played this one in a while, but I really fell in love with the sketch and decided to give it a try. To make the leaf and flower, I first stamped them with versa mark ink on vanilla cardstock. Then I heat embossed them with vanilla powder. I then took sponges with ink colors of certainly celery and perfect plum and swirled the colors around to give it that two tone color look. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I love lots of layers and this card has it!!

Good afternoon bloggers! I really put my thinking cap on for this one. The sketch over at http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/ this week was a bit tricky for me sketch #216. I could not come up with what I wanted to do, until I pulled out my SU! Day of Gratitude stamp set. This I think, is the perfect stamp set for Fall. The design in the stamps is just beautiful. I also wanted to combined in this challenge the colors for their Color Challenge #61. I love what I came up with. Who says you can't have a fall with some cool colors too! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. Leave me a comment, I always love hearing what you think of my creations!

The Paper Players #59 Color Challenge

Good night Bloggers and welcome back to my blog for a little ink-a-doodle creation! When I saw the colors for this weeks color challenge over at http://www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/ and new just what I wanted to do. I just love sending things thru with my lattic embossing folder and having it turn out like a quilt texture. The colors for the challenge are: rose red, pretty in pink and regal rose. Such pretty pinky colors together, so girly!!

Hello bloggers, this little project will knock your stamp blocks off! Ha! Ha! jut had to say that!! I made this cute little sticky notepad holder with the challenge over at http://www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/ in mind. The challenge is to create a school themed item. Head on over and get the details and to enter your creation.

I love to make easle cards, and well that got me to thinking, why not make an easle notepad holder. That way the teacher can use the sticky notes and enjoy the pretty front. I also embossed the white background with the swiss dots embossing folder for a little textured touch.

Well August is a busy month for me with Birthdays! I finished my moms card, my older sisters card and now I have just completed my other older sisters card. Good day bloggers! Glad to say we are getting a great rain right now-boy is it needed. So what better way to celebrate the rain and be inside doing my favorite thing....creating with my Stampin' Up! toys!! I wanted to make a card for my moms upcoming Birthday-I won't say which number, but she loves flowers and what better stamp set to use, other than the On The Grow. I used my watercoloring pencils to color the flowers and jar to add some soft colors.

Countryside Birthday for Hubby

Happy Tuesday bloggers and Happy Birthday to my husband! Today is his 46th Birthday and when I asked him what kind of cake he wanted, he said, "no cake, I want sugar cookies". Well I love to eat sugar cookies, but I hate to make them. They make such a mess:( But it is his B-day and well he is getting sugar cookies with the special frosting and sprinkles (I swear he is still a big kid!!) Any whoooo, on to the card of course!

I used one of my favorite new stamp sets (for myself that is) SU! Countryside. I just love the old truck with the apples, it is so country looking and well I live in the country so it works perfect! Again I used my watercoloring pencils to color the truck and then my blender pen to finish it off.

Good Monday afternoon to you all! I hope everyone had a wonderful not to hot weekend! I just finished my card creation for three challenges: http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/, http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/ and our very own http://www.creative-sketches.com/. With the whimsical wednesday challenge, I get to use my scraps up (which I don't waste any paper!) with the picture perfect challenge, I get to use the pretty colors of Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla and Concord Crush. The sketch goes with the surpise challenge for Thursday!! I wanted to try and keep this card simple and not take anything away from the pretty quilt pattern.

I wanted to make a quilt looking card to give to my sister for her upcoming birthday (she hinted around that she wanted her card to look like a quilt!!) I made it look even more vintage like by using the lace ribbon from SU! of course. I added a small pearl to the center of the vanilla lattic.

Whimsical Wednesday #16 Fun w/ Folds

Good morning bloggers! This cute little mini slider card is for this weeks fun challenge over at http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/. You need to head over and get all the details. I went to my BFF, Heather's house last Friday and this is what we made together, a mini slider card. We made a large one some time ago, but this one only measures 4" x 2-1/2". Its so cute and small! I got to choose my favorite SU! colors together for this one: Pool Party, Whisper White and Choc. Chip.

Other SU! items used: crimper, Delicate Dolies stamp set and the new Doily Triple and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punches.

When you put your hands on each side where the flower is, you pull apart and both ends slide out. It really is an amazing little card to make, easy too!

Paper Players Clean & Simple 56

I just now got this Countryside SU! stamp set and have been waiting to use it. With this weeks http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/ sketch, I new it was what I had to use. My son chose the color of blue for the pickup. He's only 11 and loves looking at all the things I creat, he's so funny, cause he always says to me, "you need to make me one of those" everytime I show him something!! I stamped the little apple several times and water colored them red and scattered them around the card. I even pop dotted the one that is in the corner of the truck. The truck has also been watercolored using my SU! pencils. It makes such a nice soft touch.

SU! items used: soft suede, cherry cobbler, not quite navy and very vanilla. I used the crumb cake seam binding ribbon (love this stuff-it makes such a wonderful bow) and the designer label punch for the sentiment and the scalloped border/corner punch for the blue mat.

Creative Sketches Iris Folding plus Sketch

I want to say "Thank You" to everyone who participated in last weeks http://www.creative-sketches.com/ blog challenge. I love seeing everyones creations. Up this week we have a sketch with a technique. Even though I did not follow the sketch at all (sorry I had an idea and just went with it:( try your best to follow the sketch. The technique for July is "Iris Folding" . This is such much fun! It can be done very simply or very detailed. I went with simple cause I wanted to make it easy for a beginner at this.

I used the large tree from the nestibilities set and punched in out thru the center of white layer. I then folded strips of metallic gree, cream/gold and red christmas wrapping paper (I always buy loads every year!) I attached my strips to the backside of tree and taped them on. I layered the finished back with a layer of gold paper. Tied a ribbon at the top and you have my Christmas Tree card.
I did not waste any materials either. I took the white tree that was punched out and used it on the inside of card with a Christmas sentiment stamped on it. Now lets see what you come up with!?!?!

PPA102 Summertimer & the Livin is Easy

Last minute, but got it in, in the nick of time. I loved the colors that are pulled from the inspiration photo over at http://www.palspaperarts.com/. I wanted my card to look a little different on the front with layers and popped up flowers. Summertime to me is cool colors, flowers in bloom and the ocean of course. Who can have a Summer without a trip to the beach (just got back from a day trip to Va Beach this past Sunday-great weather and everyone had a great time!)

Whimsical Wednesday #14 Interactive Fun

Good morning bloggers! Now that soccer is over and I have gotten all my pictures printed I thought it would be fun to do my sons soccer photos for this weeks http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/ interactive scrapbook challenge. I decided to create a waterfall interactive piece for some of the smaller pictures so it would be easier to fit all of them onto my scrapbook pages. I take alot of photos and tipically need to do a two page spread. I used the SU! Goal stamp set to create the soccer balls accents, punched out with the scalloped circle punch. I used colors of SU! black, wild wasabi and white.

You can see the waterfall accent at the top right corner before any pulling is done. There are four pictures that make my waterfall up.

Here it is in the pulling. I used the tag punch and added some misc. soccer ribbon that I had picked up at Michaels a while back for the pull tab. I hope everyone enjoys my soccer waterfall pages. I had a blast making it and putting it together. Did I mention that it was my first time creating a watefall piece!!

Fabulous Florets Anniversary

I will have to say sorry for such a bad picture. I made these two cards for my mother-in-law to give to some of her friends and I took a quick shot with my phone camera because I wanted to share them with you. First card was a 60th Anniversary card. I used the SU! Fabulous Florets stamp set and I oh so love this set. I also used the MS branch punch for an extra style of leaves. I stamped the small flower and colored the inside green then layered it on top of the large flower. I also embossed the white layer with the vintage wallpaper folder from SU! I used colors of whisper white and garden green.

The second card is for a wedding that she is going to in August. I used the swiss dots emboss folder and colors of pool party (a wonderful new In Color!) and whisper white. The seam binding ribbon is a MS color that patched just perfect to the pool party paper color. I punched out two birds from the SU! bird punch and embossed the bird wings with the dots folder and added a small layer of flowers to the girl bird.

Inspiration in Action Case Contest

Ok, well I was lucky enough to come across this wonderful blog by Gretchen and what do I find but an Inspiration in Action Case Contest! You need to head over to her blog and check out the rules and details. http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/07/new-catalog-case-contest.html. Below is the item that I chose to case from the new SU! Idea Book and Catalog (I am soooo loving this book, I take it to bed with me every night---no joke!!) I am in the mode right now for wanting to make items other than cards, so I was happy to come across this little box on pg. 21. I changed mine by making it Halloween themed-next to Christmas, this is my favorite holiday!)

I used my SU! Wicked Cool stamp set, and SU! colors of: black (embossed with the spiderweb folder by SU!), then inked with whisper white to make it stand out, cajun craze, perfect plum and whisper white. I used some metallic black embossing powder around the edge of the "spooky" tag and the tag hanging from the handle. Let me know what you think and if you we can have Christmas in July---then why not Halloween in July!!!

PPA101 Celebrity Color Challenge

Ok, well I am very proud of myself on this little project. Who would not like to have a pot of flowers that don't need watering and don't ever die?! This is my creation for the Celebrity Color Challenge over at http://www.palspaperarts.com/. The colors to use are: not quite navy (my pot), marina mist and bashful blue (which are the flowers in layers). I also used a little river rock for a lite touch of green for the leaves. I so hope you enjoy my pot of flowers and that it cheers up your day.

Here is how I made it:
Pot: the pot is made from the SU! petal cone die. I cut out two, but cut the one in half. Glued them together and made a small base for the bottom. I embossed three white half scalloped circles from the same die to add as a decoration along the sides of the pot.

Flowers: the flowers are just scalloped circles from the SU! punch of course. I broke down the paper fiber and seperated each one. I then rotated the colors and layers four. The leaves are the five petal flower punch and again seperated into two pieces. I did ink each flower and leaf with patching color. Punched a hole in the center and added a brad. I then just scrunched and gathered each petal toward the center until they made the flower. Sounds tricky, but these are very easy to make. I was inspired by my friend Heather on how to make these flowers. The branch is from the bird punch.

Below is what I had in mind.

I love my SU! Circle Circus set. I also love my boho blossom punch, it can be used in so many ways. I wanted to add just a little something small to each circle so I punched out the small flower from the stamp, inked around each with my black marker and added diamond bling to the center of each. I used my SU! scalloped border punch for the middle layer as well as each of the four background layers on the front. Wow, everywhere I turn (click today) I see blogs celebrating big numbers! Another one of my favorite blogs is celebrating their #100 challenge this week. I hated that I waited until the last minute to get in my creation but I have been trying to prepare for my weeks vacation and try to get my bags and bags packed for 2 kids is no easy task!!

I wanted to use my new SU! On the Grow stamp set and I love it of course! I used SU! colors of wild wasabi, whisper white, so saffron and cool water (one of the new in colors). I also used white 3/8" ribbon (I just love this ribbon, it ties such a nice little bow) Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!!

There are so many challenge blogs out there for everyone to join in the fun with, but I have very quickly realized that Pals Paper Arts is one of my favorites. I enjoy so much heading over to check out what the design team members have in store for us. This challenge site is full of such wonderful tallent! So in celebration of http://www.palspaperarts.com/ celebrating their 100th challenge, I wanted to show everyone what my favorite technique is.

Although I have several favorites I think mine would have to be dry embossing. You can create such a simple card layout, but when you add dry embossing to it, it adds so much to the creation. Weither you are creating a card or a scrapbook page, dry embossing can be loads of fun and add such a wonderful look to your project. I chose to use the elegant lines embossing folder from SU! (which is the white background) and I used the butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslits die. I did one set in each of purely pomg., marine mist and more mustard. I also added a little diamond bling to each butterfly. Hope you enjoy my technique and creation enough to allow me to win. I so could use all the wonderful blog candy to stock my craftroom shelves!!

Creative-Sketches Anything Goes Challenge!

Good morning bloggers and http://www.creative-sketches.com/ blog followers. We are back this week with another fabulous challenge. This week "anything goes" it means you can do what ever kind of project you would like. Now is the time to get those creative juices flowing.

I wanted to do something with this card that I don't do much. I take my brayer and ink it up good. I then roll on the ink over top of one side of the embossing folder. I then lay my paper inside and send it thru my cuttlebug. It makes it turn out like the card above. The ink is suttle and the embossed image really stands out. I used my 5 petal punch cut two out and layers them and topped it off with the boho blossom punch in white. My colors are SU! perfect plum and whisper white.

I decided to make mine a 4th of July Birthday card. I know there alot of birthdays out there that are either on the 4th of July or at least close. I don't have any firework stamps, so I used my resources and used some snowflakes stamps that would work perfectly for fireworks. What do you think??

Ok, for some reason the true colors are not turing out right with my camera today. Its cloudy here and its affecting the lighting. This card is for http://www.divacoffeebreakdesigns.blogspot.com/. I used their colors of poppy parade, not quite navy and sahara sand. I used the 5 petal punch to make layers and made one large flower for the front and the inside. Even though I did not enter this one, the sketch was from last weeks mojo monday challenge. I couldn't just make one for that one.

Whimsical Wednesday Challenges #11

Ok, I went out on a limb here and did something very bold. I decided to used red, yellow and black as my only three colors. I also made it different by making it into an easle care. I both yellow and red layers, I ran them thru with the lattic embossing folder by SU!. Not sure if you can see them in the photo, but I added little gold pearls to each center point of the scalloped border punch on the outside of card. The black strip inside the card is also embossed. My favorite item is the red flower on the front made my punching out two scalloped circles and folding them at each point and then putting them together to form the pin wheel. Good evening bloggers! Trying to get in some creations before my busy weekend starts. My two sons have been gone all week long and its been soooo quiet.....to quiet! My youngest comes back this weekend and the older one will be gone for another week. Any whooo, back to my creation. This one is for http://www.tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/. I wanted this to be a cute simple birthday card. I used SU! colors of so saffron, basic gray and pink piroutette. I also used the new designer label punch for the sentiment. If you can see, I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set, stamped them in whisper white then heat embossed them with pearl white powder to make them stand out just a little on the pink paper.

Good morning bloggers, we are back again this week for a new and exciting sketch with a technique at http://www.creative-sketches.com/. This week you need to use the masking technique along with the sketch below. Have fun and I can't wait to see what all you create!!

Here is the creation that I came up with. I wanted to use a new stamp set I got last month, its called "Happy Together" and its a SU! stamp set. I used colors of: soft sky, crumb cake, early espresso, peach parfait and very vanilla. I used the 5/8" vanilla satin ribbon for my bow and the modern label punch for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment on the front. The double circle border punch is a MS punch.

THIS CARD WON AS A RUNNER-UP AT PPC!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!!
Good day bloggers! I am leaving to go out of town this weekend for my nephews high school graduation! So I wanted to try and get a couple of challenges in while trying to pack. This card is for my Dad for Fathers Day, so it worked out perfect that this weeks challenge over at http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/ is to make something for "Father's Day". It is also for http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/ for the use of colors, which are "SU! cajun craze, always artichoke and certainly celery." I used the scalloped oval punch on the front to highlight the sentiment of "Happy Father's Day". The ribbon is always artichoke 1/4" grosgrain, topped off with mini copper colored brads. I hand cut out the little spatula and glued it to the little insert that slides out to read, "King of the Grill" cause that is the SU! stamp set that it came from.

My Dad loves two things, #1 to eat at buffet resturants and #2 Wood Grill Resturant, so I thought it best to just slide him in a gift card to go eat there!

Now on to my creation. I was in the mood to make an anniversary card and this is what I came up with. I used SU! colors of real red, wild wasabi, whisper white and softe suede. I also used the new stamp set, called "Fabulous Florets". I can't get enough of this set, its sooo wonderful. It can be made cute or very elegent. I also heat embossed the center of each flower with black metallic powder.

Ok bloggers, second post for today. This is just a fun and super cute robot card that any little boy will love for his Birthday. Ok, bloggers, I am back and ready to get started on some awesome challenges for this week. First up is a round sketch challenge for Just Add Ink, http://www.just-add-ink.blogspot.com/ . Head on over and check out the details. I wanted to make this card as a wedding card, cause I had cranberry red, black and very vanilla in mind and new just what I wanted to do. I used the boho blossoms punch and punched out the littlest flower in the red. Centered each with a gold pearl bling (I love bling, it just sounds cool to say, "BLING") I think it must be a womans favorite word next to "Diamond"!! Ok, back to the card, I made a circle easle card and used the label punch as the stopper for the opening. I hope you enjoy my card for this weeks challenge.

Colorful Peony Flowers

I watched the tutorial on how to make these beautiful peonies and now I can't get enough of them. Go visit Valita at http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/ and check out her how to video, she is great! I made one in pink and inked the edges with a regal rose. The second one is rich razz inked with the same color. The third one is daff. delight inked with red riding hood (the yellow and red together made it look orange) so it made it like a serbert color tone.

Ok back again for another challenge. This one is for http://www.tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/. I wanted to do a little something fun and different for this layout. When I saw this sketch, I first thought of large candles. I cut out hug candles and placed some matching stripes on them added some pop dots to the back of each and added them on. I used a little yellow ribbon for a cute little bow and used my scalloped oval punch to add "Birthday Wishes" as my greeting.

I used SU! colors of: wild wasabi, daff. delight, black, purely pomegranate and bermuda bay

Good Tuesday to all you bloggers! I hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend. I have been away for a while, but I am back. I am making and selling cards at my sisters hairshop and she is keeping me busy. I just sent her a box, so I thought I can now have time for me and to enter a couple of challenges. First up is http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ and this card is also for http://www.palspaperarts.com/. This is my first time to enter pals paper arts and am very excited to join in. (well forget that challenge, its over and I missed the deadline to enter...bummer)

I used the circle layout from Mojo Monday and the use of brads for the Pals Paper Arts challenge. I love it when I can be so creative to get two challenges out of one card!

Supplies used:
SU! colors of so saffron, soft suede, very vanilla and groovy guava.
Misc. soft gold brads, daff. delight satin ribbon and the wonderful new SU! flower blossom punch for the sunflower. The leaves are from the bird punch (its wings on the outside and the branch for the inside)

Peony Flower Card

I don't know if I want to give it away or keep it for myself. I think it turned out so beautifully!

All items used are SU! I used purely pomgrat. ink to ink around the edges of the flower petals. I also used the same color in card stock for the background. I love this color and its worked perfect for a peony. Hope you enjoy!

Father's Day Tool Belt Card

Ok, I must say this is just tooo stinking cute! The idea came from non other than Vilita, go check her out at http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/. I am in the process of making some Father's Day cards and wanted to try something a little different. I used SU! early expresso. I don't have any tool stamps or stickers, so I traced the tools from the current SU! catalog and made my own. I inked all around the pouches and card with black to make it look worn and dirty. (Just like a man!!)

On the inside I typed up the saying, "Though a single day is set aside, the thankfulness is year round."
There is a pocket on the inside so that you can slide in a special gift card of dear old Dad! Maybe so he can go and buy some more tools - as if he needs anymore!!

Teacher Appreciation Mini Pocketbook w/ Notecards

Good morning bloggers! This is my boys last week of school and I wanted to make a special gift for my youngest sons teacher. She has been an awesome teacher! Not that my older sons teacher is not, but the teacher is a MAN and I don't think he would like a purse filled with not cards:))

I made the purse using the wonderful tuturial from Becky Roberts at. http://www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com/. If you like to make items like this or would like to learn how, you need to head over to her sight and check it out.

To go inside the pocketbook, I made 8 bashful blue "Thank You" note cards using the new SU! Fabulous Florets stamp set. I also made my own matching white envelopes. I hope you can see the detail of the purse. I inked around the edges and even stamped the flower image from the same stamp set. I used the flowers from the Fun Flowers die (again I hope to see this in my future soon!!-I hear its coming back for the new July catalog)

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #5

This is the scrapbook page that I put together this past Friday at my monthly crop club. This can so be used as more of an elegent birthday scrapbook page. We used the SU! Elements of Style stamp set and the new Hope stamp set. Paper colors are SU! river rock, tangerine tango, bravo burgandy and the new Pasiley Petals DS paper. Lace ribbon and the new flowers embossing folder. We also heat embossed the butterfly and "H-hope" at top of page.

For You Tea Pot Whimsical Wesnesdays #6

My mother loves tea pots so when I saw this, I just new I had to make it. I am giving it to her for Mother's Day. (yes I know its passed, but I don't live close so it will be a late gift, but she will love it!) I think I will also enter this in for http://www.whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/

The flowers on top are from using the Fun Flowers die from SU! ( I see this item being mine in the near future) The butterfly is from CM punch. I also used the new paisley prints designer paper that was a special last month from SU!. It is such a nice paper pack. Even though you can't see them, I added big pearls on the bottom as feet to the pot. It took us a LONG time to make this, but in the end, it was totally worth it. Now that we have made one, next time it should not take us as long.

Mojo Monday 190 and Stamping 411 #156

I got the SU! sweet treats stamp set last year and had yet to use it until today. Ice cream was calling for me I guess!! I stamped the cone with scoops and stamped the scoops again, cut each out and attached with pop dots for 2-d affect. I used my new bow maker that I just got in the mail today from Lee, thanks Lee I love it, just need to figure out how to do the double loop bow. I know you said to wrap it twice, but not sure what that ment:( Any whooo) I also used my boho blossoms punch for the corner pieces. Ok, peeps, back again this week with lots of inspiration for making and creating. Up first is my card creation for two challenges. The first is http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/ for the sketch and http://www.divacoffeebreakdesigns.blogspot.com/ for the colors of soft suede, so saffron and regal rose. Was not sure what to do with the rose cause I had in mind to use the sun flowers from the Inspired by Nature SU! stamp set, but I think I made it work ok.

SU! items used: lattic emboss folder for the vanilla background, Inspired by Nature stamp set, vanilla satin ribbon and scalloped border punch and the modern label punch for the "Thank You" sentiment.

Mother's Day Card and Mini Album

Ok, first up is a Mother's Day for my mother-in-law. I just can't get enough of these cute easy to make flower bursts. I saw this lattice card idea somewhere (sorry don't remember where I saw it to give proper credit) but thought it was amazing and wanted to give it a try. I used SU! colors of: very vanilla and baja breeze. I also used a little of pink pirouette to the inside of the big flower and for the mini one beside of it. I also used the flower border emboss folder for the outside vanilla layer.

To give as a small gift with the card, I made this mini according album to hold wallet size photos. I used a sheet of DSP from blueberry crisp and matched it with very vanilla and not quite navy. I used bashful blue ribbon to tie it shut. Again I used the flower bursts on the outside and stamped it with "Happy Mother's Day."

This is what the inside looks like. I cut and stamped very vanilla pieces to slide in and out of the pockets. I also stamped on the corners of each. I soooo hope she likes it. I plan to put some Easter pics of my boys and family inside for her.

I am a little behind in creating, but am working hard to catch up. I went with the sketch for tuesday morning and the theme of "wedding" for whimsical wednesday. I just love the color combo.

Ok, I am just having so much fun making these cute little flowers! I used one large flowers with two small buds. PPC-CC 57 and Whimsical Wednesday Challenges 3

Good morning peeps! I wanted to try making some flowers that my friends Heather showed me this past weekend. I even wanted to take it a bit further and make a flower vase decoration for my home. It worked out perfect that for Whimsical Wednesday, their challenge is to make something for the home for Spring. So this creation is for http://whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/ and http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/ for the color combo.

I used SU! colors of: wild wasabi, melon lambo, perfect pirouette and very vanilla. i also used the shimmer vanilla spritz and sprayed the flowers. I am so happy with how they turned out.

I tied on some very vanilla satin ribbon and some rose red grosgrain ribbon for the bows around the vase. Stuffed some blue tissue paper into the vase to reflect water and there you go. Let me know what you think!!

Diva Coffee Break Designs 225

Good evening Monday challengers!! I have been busy the past week and have not been able to create for online challenges. I went this weekend with a friend to her SU! team meeting. We had such great fun! We had an awesome day with her team, talking and making cards. I even won a prize for having two of my card creations picked by Amy Celona, http://ustamp4fun.com/. I was able to meet Maxine Conrad from SU! corporate. She was such a fun and nice lady to have been able to meet. After that we went on a boat tour of the Hudson River, followed by dinner at a seafood restaurant, delicious food, but we had to wait forever for it. Anyway, I am back now, with motivation to get my butt in gear and create, create, create!!

Baby Bear Carriages

Ok, i saw something close to this on a site somewhere, but do not remember where I saw it, so if someone knows where I saw it, please let me know so that I may give credit. I thought these were just outstanding. Just way to cute. They do open on the side as a card. These would make a great little something to give as a gift for a card holder or just a simple card to go along with a gift. I made one in certainly celery, bashful blue, so saffron and a purple color that is old and retired.

I wanted to show the baby bear up close...he has a mini matching colored brad as his binky!! Here is how I made them:
- largest spellbinders: scalloped circle for the carriage (paper was folded in half then cut out)
- wheels: 1-1/4" circle for outside, 1" for colored part and 3/4" for the stamped image that came from circle circus.
- bear is 1" for head, 3/4" for outer ear, 1/2" for inner pink ear and for the paws. I hand drew on the eyes and nose. Then popped in a mini brad for the binky. Topped off the carriage with colored bow and bear with a mini knotted white bow. I so hope you enjoy my baby bear carriages.

Witchy Halloween Pentagon Treat Tube

This is my creation for the pentagon treat tube challenge with Kim over at http://www.paperpunchaddiction.com/. I also used the wonderful super cute witch punch art idea from her as well. I hope I did it justice for both the witch head and the tube. Let me know what you think, I always love getting feedback!

I embossed a piece of clear asitate (spelled wrong I know-not enough coffee in system to spell right this morning!!) and embossed it with the SU! spiderweb folder. I also used my MS spiderweb border punch for the top and bottom of the tube. I older son just loved it and now wants it for himself. I told him, "I have to take a pic of it first to enter it into a challenge then you can have it!" He will get it today when he comes home from school.

Diva Coffee Break Designs 222 & Whimsical Wednesday Challenges 1

THIS SCRAPBOOK PAGE WAS THE WINNER FOR THE 1ST CHALLENGE AT WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY!! WHOOO...HOOOO!!
Ok, I am so excited about these pages for two reasons. #1 its my first chance to enter the all new weekly challenge at http://www.whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/ and #2, my typical style to scrapbook is the Creative Memories way, but I am trying to get away from that and try new things. I love all my SU! supplies and I am trying to create more scrapbook pages using my stamp sets instead of stickers. So this is my stab at trying to do my Easter themed scrapbook pages and use only stamp sets. I also added a little butterfly to each egg on the top page to follow along with whimsical wednesdays Easter/critter theme. I also used the colors of pacific point, tangerine tango and real red for the challenge at http://www.divacoffeebreakdesigns.blogspot.com/ I added a little choc. chip with some whisper white. I hope you have enjoyed taking a peek at my Easter pages, cause I had a blast making them. I wanted to keep this card as cute and simple as the sketch from http://www.tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/. I also was in the mood to make an Easter card. I am so bad at not remembering what the times of stuff is, I just pick out what I want and go to town creating. So I can't even tell you what brand paper this is. The ribbon is a sheer orange ribbon that I picked up at Michaels and I used my Spellbinders Nest. Scalloped Circle shapes. The "Happy Easter" is from a retured SU! easter set that I got off of Ebay last year and again, could not tell you the name of it. Man, I am so bad:( Hope you enjoy the card though!!

New Mini Notepad Handbag

Ok, I will have to admit that making these cute little mini notepade handbags are so addicting! I can't stop, but this was the very first one that I made. This is my mini notepad handbag. I made this for http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/, the colors to use is SU! melon mambo, w white, b black, and blushing bride. I decided not to make a card for this challenge, cause I had promised to make one of these little notepads for my son and yes, he wanted it in pink. He wanted the notepad for school, but I said I bought them for a purpose and he could not have one, then I got to thinking, I told him he could have one only if I made it into a handbag like intended for and if its for school he had to still take it and use it. He said ok, and I was like, and you can't strip all the items off either. He said I promise I won't, even make it pink and if I don't use it at school the way it is made, then I will pay you $10. So the deal is on and the handbag has been made, he loved it last night, so lets see if he keeps his side of the bargin up!!! If not, I had fun making it anyway.

I used the little mini marbel compsition books, that you can find at most Dollar Stores. I measured over and up 1" on each side and cut them at that angle. I then just decorated each side and Wala, you have a mini handbag notepad. Hope you like!!

Crazy 4 Challenges #80 & PPC-CC #53

WOW!! Is all I can say, when it comes to this card. This is the first time I have tried the new technique of embossing everything together in one shot. Yep...I am tooting my own horn right now!! This creation is for two challenges again, http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/ and http://www.crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/. Again, slip on over and take a peek! I stamped the image with versa mark and then heat embossed it with clear powder. I then inked (thats what I call it!) to spread the colors of pp, ss and rr on the image, then wiped the image off with tissue to see the flowers more clearly. Supplies used: - pacific point, real red, choc. chip, so saffron, crumb cake and very vanilla SU! colors - Inspired by Nature SU! stamp set, label punch and latic emboss folder

Ok, not quite what I had in mind when I started out, but I think it still turned out nice. I just love using the Bud Basics SU! stamp set. Mini Bunny Top Note Treat Boxes

These are the cute little mini boxes with pieced together bunnies I made for each of the Stampin Crop Club I am a part of. I made 10 of these little boxes. I made green, purple and pink ones.

Side view of the box. I used the top note die, cut one and then cut it in half to use as the top and bottom of box. If you would like I can give you the measurements I used to make the acutal box for the inside treat.

The box is just large enough for one of the mini reeses peanut butter eggs. I tied the box shut with a piece of ribbon to match.

The bunny is made with a combo of circles and ovals, then pieced together for the bunny. Again, I will post later today all the measurements for the box and the bunny if you would like. Just let me know if you are interested. Thanks for looking at my mini bunny boxes!!

Stamping 411 SSS #196

Time for another card creation for http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/. I used the sketch layout and made it for what could be a simple wedding card. I used the colors of black, white and soft sky (all SU! colors) . I love black and white together, but still wanted just one more light suttle color. I think it turned out nice. I did add a little black gem bling to the pattern paper, but you just can't see it that well in the photo. Thanks for checking out my creation and I hope you leave me a comment on it! Ok, this is my super cute, very simple easter card for kids. Easter stamp set that I got off Ebay and Priceless stamp set, the colors or perfect plum, pretty in pink and certainly celery. I also used whisper white. Hope you enjoy.

Owl Tent Card

I had not made a tent card in a while and was in the mood to make one. I also wanted to use my new celebration stamp set and turn it into an Easter card. I think this is just so cute!! Groom Wedding Box

Ok, I wanted to try and make a groom to go with the bride, because well, lets face it, you can't have one without the other!! I felled miserably:( I wanted to make it look like he had a coat tale, but could not for the life of me, come up with what would work.) Anyway, I gave it a try and hope you still like it and hope to see someone get inspired enough that they go out there and come up with what I was hoping to do!! I used the tux top of the groom from the idea of www.valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com, cause she is the "BOMB" and I know she can come up with the solution!!

Bride and Groom set, I matched his tie with the sash and flowers of the bride!
